How to remove Security Tool (SecurityTool)

All of a sudden a pop up called “SecurityTool protect your PC” pops up and start scanning your computer and alert you that your computer is infected with Trojans, Malware and Spyware.

STOP from there do not click on Remove button or anywhere else. SecurityTool itself is a Trojan and you need to remove it.

My computer was infected with SecurityTool twice and first time I had to reinstall Windows to get rid of it. I start trying couple of things to remove Security Tool and it got worse and worse. Finally, I could not do anything except to run the recovery partition and install Windows again.

Second time I found a good guide to remove SecurityTool without any problem. If you see a pop-up similar to the following stop playing around with that computer and follow the instructions on this guide (www.bleepingcomputer.com). I recommend you to use another computer connected to internet to open up the guide and download softwares if possible.

It worked perfectly and able to remove the Security Tool successfully. Malwarebyte removes it quite effectively.

Running CPU temperature that is safe for your Netbook is ~50c

Well the maximum temperature before your CPU is in immediate threat of being deep fried is 90c for most of the Intel Atom chips that are present in Netbooks.. I would no where recommend testing that limit on your cpu.

It is important for your system's health to keep it cool. Cooling also helps with longer battery life I suppose.

I always tend to keep my eee pc under 45c but on some occassions it heats upto 56c where I start closing the used applications taking up CPU cycles.

Also, I use applications like HDD Health and Speed Fan to monitor the temperature as it seems to work with most of the CPUs.

Introducing Google Buzz

Google announced a new way to connect with your friends and relatives and share interesting stuff and tell the world that what you are up to. Google introduce Google Buzz along with GMail.

Google blog is the best place to quote about Google Buzz.

Google Buzz is a new way to start conversations about the things you find interesting. It's built right into Gmail, so you don't have to peck out an entirely new set of friends from scratch — it just works. If you think about it, there's always been a big social network underlying Gmail. Buzz brings this network to the surface by automatically setting you up to follow the people you email and chat with the most. We focused on building an easy-to-use sharing experience that richly integrates photos, videos and links, and makes it easy to share publicly or privately (so you don't have to use different tools to share with different audiences). Plus, Buzz integrates tightly with your existing Gmail inbox, so you're sure to see the stuff that matters most as it happens in real time

Watch the video that explain Google Buzz and how it works.

Still I cannot see this new link but Google says that they are going to add it to every account over first few days.

Google approach to maximizing advertising revenue for online publishers

Every one would like to know how to make extra money online. This is Google approach to maximizing revenue.

1. AdSense

AdSense has changed the way publishers place advertisement on their web pages. It opens up the doors to the small publishers who cannot afford to have their own ad campaigns.

More traffic you get more Revenue you get.

2. Ad Serving

Larger publishers with their own ad sales teams use our ad serving products (like DoubleClick's DFP or Google Ad Manager) to serve the most valuable ad that they've sold directly to advertisers or ad agencies. DFP is the industry's leading ad serving platform that powers the advertising businesses of the largest online publishers, while Google Ad Manager is designed to meet the needs of growing online publishers.

3. DoubleClick Ad Exchange

DoubleClick Ad Exchange is a real-time auction marketplace for display ad space — it includes ad networks on one side, and major online publishers on the other. Publishers are in complete control of which networks they allow to bid, what ads can appear on their sites and which ad space they make available.

Seriously make your blog load faster in 15 minutes

I was having cool chat with my blogging friend roezer at Blog HQ. Suddenly he drop me a link and small comment "This looks bad". It showed me a colorful diagram and it wasn't look that bad for me. After looking into the details I figure it out that it is the loading time for the blog. It took over 5seconds to load fully. Seriously, it looked really bad. This is how I made my blog load faster and you can do the same.

Here is the steps I followed and seriously if you want your blog to load fast you can follow the same.

1. Check your blog loading time with Pingdom Tools.

Copy and paste your URL and click Test now.

It will start testing your site and show the break down of your blog loading time.
If it is taking longer than couple of seconds then you need to make it load faster

If your site loads withing couple of seconds then you do not have to waste your time making it load faster. Yepppi!!!

2. Go through the list and figure out what components took time to load. In Pingdom Tools you can sort it by loading time and it will give you a better picture. Also, you can check the individual items by clicking on the links.

Back up your template and blog before going to step 3

3. Now you need to take some brave actions. Which I had to do. Most of the time we collect junk in our blogs. Add all the cool gadgets we come a cross and we do not remove them even if it doesn't perform.

Get rid of all the gadgets that you think that dose not help you.
Get rid of scripts that run behind unless they are really useful.

4. Optimize the images.

You can make your blog load faster by optimizing the images you use in the blog. Online Image Optimizer will be good tool to reduce the size of your image by 30% to 70% without affecting the quality of the image. You can choose the best image suite for your blog.

5. Now you can do the test again and you will be surprised with the results. I manage to reduce to loading time to 3 Seconds from 5 Seconds

There are some design issues you can fix to make your blog load faster but it takes time and money to redesign your blog. Until that you can follow this simple steps to make it load faster.

Best place to start learning a new computer language

When we going to start learning a new thing we always get confused with where should we start it. I think it is important how we start learning a new programming language. If you took a good start, it is easier to continue it and you can be satisfied with what you learnt.

Start with what you already know

Always start with something you already know about programming. Couple of questions you can ask from yourself:

What are the computer languages that I already know?
How the languages I already know relate to the new language I am going to learn?
How do I find coding with the languages I already know?

Even if this is your first computer language, you can always find some related information you already learnt or heard. Otherwise you can question how you good at thinking logically and according to the situation.

By doing this you build the confidence to learn new programming language. It is no longer something very strange to you. This is only small preparing your mind.

Start preparing the runtime environment before coding

Most of the cases we start learning how to programme in a classroom or a computer lab. Environment to run your code is already set up accordingly. You need to put the code in correct format, compile it, and run it. If you try, the same thing in your home computer there is a good chance that it will not work, because necessary runtime environments are not installed.

For all the popular computer languages has a official website where you can download the documentations and the installers to setup the right environment to run your code.

Download the documentation and the installer program and install it in your home machine. If it is web based programmingBeginning Programming For Dummies language, you need to setup your computer as a web server. It is challenging but it is fun after you set it up.

Now you know what exactly happening behind the scene.

Always refer to the documentation and if you have further problems, you can always get help from forums and examples available. However, do not copy and paste the coding from web, as you will not learn anything.

Gmail Chrome extensions rocks

If someone asks me, why I use Google Chrome? Because it is simple, fast and saves time in many ways. Switching to GMail tab and look whether I received a new interesting email is time consuming. It is good excuse to go through old emails as well. With the new GMail extension, your life becomes much easier.

After you install the GMail extension, you will notice a familiar envelop icon in the top bar. That small icon will show you how many new emails are there in your inbox. Now there is no need to switch to GMail tab all the time.

One thing I have notice is it dose not work in the incognito window as the Chrome extensions are disabled from there.

Use Notepad to become a perfect programmer

When you are learning a new programming language use the Notepad. In Microsoft Windows, it would be Notepad but in Linux UNIX environments, you can use the VI editor. There are special editors for all the popular programming languages. It gives coding suggestions, syntax, auto correction, and many more features. Why you must use a basic Notepad when it comes to leaning a programming language?

These fancy editors hide all the basic elements of the programming in order to make your life easy. That is not what you want to archive at this stage. You are learning a new language you need to know the meaning of every single character you entered and how it affects. You start from the hard way and then find out the easy ways as you confidence with what you are learning.

Notepad dose not provide you any help. You are on your own. You must type all the syntaxes, variables, new line and all the necessary coding. You will have a better understanding of the building blokes of a code. How you should stat coding and how you should end it. How line should start and how it should end. How you can leave a comment line. When you type it for sometimes, you will remember them. If it automatically pops up from nowhere and you just selected it will not do any good for your learning process.

Therefore, during the time you learn a programming language stay out of fancy editors and stick to a basic Notepad. Do the entire coding examples by yourself on a notepad, compile it, and run it in command line.

After you are confidence with the computer language you learn then you can choose your own editor to make your life easy fast and accurate. When you go to production what it matters is how fast you can finish a project.
