If I say there are no better softwares than Words and Excel for manage data I think I am correct. Knowing all the Excel hacks and tricks you can get any sort row data in to organize manner. Arrange it exactly you want. Using Word you can arrange them to print it the way you want it. This is exactly what you required to print labels without wasting time.
First you must organize the information you have. This includes identifying the needed information and collect correct and up to date information. Google Docs Forms will come handy on collecting information. Because straight away it puts into Excel Spread Sheet. No need to spends time organizing the gathered information.
For example if you need to collect all the mailing addresses of your friends, relatives or even business partners to send seasonal greetings simple you can create a Google Doc Form with relevant field (Name, Address, Suburb, State) send the link to everyone to fill.
