2012 End of Windows 7: Time for Windows 8

Microsoft is planning to release then next version of Windows (Windows 8) in two years time. Windows 7 is the most successfulness OS they have released so far. (Redmond gang has sold 240 million licenses of Windows 7 withing a year.) Microsoft is working on the next version of Windows, the blog says in Dutch, but it will be about two years before Windows 8 is on the market. CNET manage to get a screen shot of it before it disappear.

This confirms that the software giant isn’t planning to rush the next version of Windows out of the door. Here is the list of feature that you can expect with Windows 8

* 128-bit version of its OS
* An app store similar to ones offered by Apple
* startup times and the time it takes to resume from sleep,
* improve power efficiency
* including body-sensing

and of course when it comes to 2012 there will be totally different challenges for Microsoft.
