FireFox 3.5 Tweaks

Everyone is excited about FireFox 3.5. Even though you cannot see major change from outside they have worked hard to get thing in real shape by making it really faster and add some missing items from FireFox3.0.

Google Chrome is giving the maximum area for the web page than any other web browser. You can get a similar web browsing experience from FireFox3.5.

Right click on the Toolbar and select Customize and you can drag and drop all the components from other toolbars (Navigation Toolbar and Bookmark Toolbar) to the first tool bar. Then you can go to View and then to Tools bars and un-select Navigation Toolbar and Bookmark Toolbar.I would like to make the status bar disappear as well but it would be a bad idea as you cannot see the links where they heading to before you click.

DownloadSquad has come up with a cool FireFox3.5 Tweak that will keep your FireFox open even after the last tab was close.

Type about:config into the location bar and you will get a warning and always you click on I'll be careful I promise! and you will get all the FireFox configuration settings there. Copy and paste browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab on Filter and double click on browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab to make it false. Your FireFox will not close just because you close your last tab.

Another feature of FireFox3.5 is that it allows you to move your Tabs between FireFox windows.

Hope you are enjoying FireFox3.5 and you are always welcome to share your FireFox3.5 tweaks with us.
