How to convert Microsoft Word to XML

Converting a Microsoft word file to XML can be useful for those who do programming. Specially if you required to write a program to convert Microsoft word file to another format or to work with XML. You can only apply this method for Word 2007 and Word 2010.

1. Create a new file in MS Word and save it. If you already have a file then you are not required to create a new file.

2. Then change the .docx file extension to .zip.

3. Open the zip file in your favorite zip file program.

4. You can see a folder structure with .xml file.
