Free Backup Software FBackup 4.4

I have been discussed about cool backup softwares that can be used to backup your important data smoothly. FBackup 4.4 another cool software I found to back up all your files. And I do not have to explain why you should backup your computers regularly. FBAckup is a program I found while trying to fix a problem in a computer ( It is not related to backups or retrieving data). While I am writing this post Fbackup is backing up all my important files intoa external hard drive. So, you can download and test it out.

Best features I would like to point out is
* Backup Open files is one of the biggest advantage of this software. Specially the Outlook pst file. I am always had problem backing up pst files when outlook is open. FBackup dose not seems to have any problems. This apply for all the other open files as well.

* Backup with Standard Zip is another cool feature. Why? Most of the paid backup softwares compress or encrypt the backup so you will need the same program to restore. However, this one have a option to compress the files using standard zip file.

* Next one is the best out of all the key features. It is free to use personally and commercial. Isn't it cool? So, why do not you give it a try and backup all you important files regularly.

Enjoy

BookMark: Networking Windows with Mac OS X

If you are having problems networking your Windows Computers with Mac computers this web page will provide all the hacks tricks and tweaks you should know. Without wasting your time here is the website; MacRumorsGuides Networking Windows with Mac OS X

Even though Mac and PC is having a bad relationship they can talk to each other and share files and folders without any problem. MacRumorsGuide came in handy to make it happened.

ISSUE1: Mac did not detect the Windows computer

After making the folder in Windows machine shared go to Mac computer.
Go to Go (You have to open the Finder) and Connect to Server. Do not forget to type smb:/// Without smb:// mac will not identify your computers in the network. This is something most of the Windows users are not familiar with.

ISSUE2: Mac cannot Authenticate Windows 2003

Mac computer recodnice the Windows computer and requesting the user name and the password but dose not accept it even you try the Administrator account. Thats because Windows 2003 by default tries to encrypt everything that send to and send from it. So Mac does not undestand Windows 2003 language.

Two Solutions suggested by MacRumorsGuide

Case 1, your server is nothing more than a regular file server. In this case open up regedit (Start > Run > "regedit" {return}), and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ System \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ LanManServer \ Parameter \ RequireSecuritySignature, and set it's value to "0".

Case 2, your server is also a Domain Controller. In which case you need to open the DC's Security Policy (Administrative Tools > Domain Controller Security Policy). Navigate to Local Policies > Security Options, and disable "Microsoft network server: Digitally sign communications (always)" & "Microsoft network server: Digitally sign communications (if client agrees)". Reboot your sever, and you should be good to go.

When will be Microsoft Windows 7 released?

Microsoft Corp said on Tuesday ( 2nd of June 2009) its new Windows 7 operating system will be generally available on October 22, well ahead of its original schedule and in time for the holiday shopping season.

The new operating system, which will replace the unpopular Vista, was originally planned for roll-out at the beginning of next year, but Microsoft confirmed last month that it would hit the market in time for the year’s busiest buying period.

Microsoft said it will send Windows 7 code to PC makers to load onto new machines — known in the industry as “release to manufacturing” — around the end of July.

By October 22, people will be able to buy new computers with Windows 7 installed, or pick up the software off the shelf to install on their old computers.

Microsoft confirmed that it will run a program whereby people who buy PCs with certain versions of Vista before October 22 can get a free upgrade to Windows 7, but it has not yet released details.

PC Vs MAC - What is the best?

This is nothing new but in the computer world you always have arguments ad campaigns from both Microsoft and Apple regarding this issue. First thing I do not understand is that is it a competition between Microsoft and Apple or PC and MAC. Even though it is called PC vs MAC it is more appropriate to call it as Microsoft Vs Apple. It is a competition with the two big brands and if you call it PC that does not mean it is only Microsoft.

What is the best? Microsoft or Apple? PC or MAC?

Windows is the best! NO Mac OS is much better than Windows! PC with Windows is cool and cheap! I am PC! I am MAC! Life without walls! MAC Vs PC!

This is just some of the things you hear every day. I like to work with a PC with Windows OS.
Why? MAC is much better than Windows and MAC has cute designs. It is always good for Microsoft and Apple to compare their products and increase the popularity.

When it comes to individuals it is just a matter of affordability, usability and your personal opinion. More than anything else for me it really matters how well I can operate, troubleshoot, customize and how well it suite for the requirements that changes every day. At the end of the day you will get what you have paid.

Whats is your preference? MAC or PC? MAC OS, Windows or anything else? I would like to hear your opinion.
